Daniel joined ABL as Commercial Manager in mid 2022.
Daniel has a strong professional background developed through various surveying roles held within the New Zealand and the UK over the last 20 years.
His QS and Project Management experiences have ranged across disciplines such as Design and Build, Early Contractor Involvement, Residential (Bespoke Architectural, Apartments and Mass housing), Mixed Use, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Health.
He has experience of working within all facets of a Projects timeline, from inception to completion, ensuring he is as comfortable leading and developing a Project through to closing it out for handover. He has undertaken projects that presented additional challenges above and beyond usual expectations such as in a working in live and sensitive environments, excessive site constraints, high-end bespoke requirements, major design changes, time-sensitive Projects and Heritage works.
These varied roles have allowed him to develop the abilities to manage, plan, react and act accordingly on the challenges that developments may bring, that would be rivalled by few others.
He has strong belief in the collaborative approach to construction as the best method to deliver maximum value and results at the lowest possible risk. He believes minimising parties self-interests and maximising strong cross-discipline communication, understanding and trust leads to a more sustainable and functional construction sector.
