Not your average bus shelter!

This building of distinctive design is located at the gateway to Queenstown, in Frankton.

Exposed steel, honed blockwork and feature lighting are a feature of this building constructed by ABL in 2007.

On granting a win in the 2011 National Architecture Awards for Mary Jowett's urban design work on this project, the judges stated:

"This carefully considered project is a most welcome community asset, offering shelter and public amenity with style and delightful straightforwardness."
