Queenstown Airport (QAC) Luggage Claim Area & Toilets
Construction of a New Arrivals Area Toilet Facilities Extension and works associated with the installation of two new oversize baggage belts involving airside works.
The airport remained operational at all times during the construction of this project.
Building Alterations were within a security-enhanced area to accommodate oversized luggage belts (installed by Glidepath, part of Alstef Group) at both the International and Domestic Baggage Reclaim Areas.
A Building extension in close proximity to the reclaim area containing new toilets and other rooms including but not limited to:
- Site facilities and establishment
- Excavation and site filling under slab
- Foundations and concrete slab
- Framing
- Roofing and wall cladding
- Window and doors
- Drainage
- Electrical, Lighting
- Sprinkler and fire services
- Maintaining the weather tightness of the existing building
- Overall Health and Safety plan and responsibility for the whole site
