Projects - Taieri College Block A Redevelopment

This project consisted of the long-awaited replacement of the school's administration block and library.

Included in the project scope was the asbestos removal and demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of three standalone buildings; a new administration block, a new library and a new classroom / science laboratory. The total build area of new buildings was approx. 1500m2. Extensive hard & soft landscaping was also included in the project.

Careful planning was required to keep disruption caused by the building activity to the school’s operations to an absolute minimum, and the school, the consultant and ABL worked very well as a team collectively to ensure streamlined project delivery.

This was a successful project for all concerned which was completed within the prescribed contract period.
