Projects - Cavells Restaurant Redevelopment and Microbrewery
Cavells Restaurant Redevelopment and Microbrewery
The Cavells Bar, Restaurant and Microbrewery building project was to build a restaurant, bar and brewhouse on the ground floor of Cavell’s building located at No.1 Arthurs Point Road, replacing an existing café/restaurant/bar in the same location.
We undertook the building alterations and built a building extension that was 6.7m long, x 5.4m wide x 4.0 metre to the south of the existing building. This extension was clad in vertical cedar cladding and painted fibre cement panels along with changes to the reconfiguration of the windows and doors along the western façade of the building.
Amalgamated Builders also built a 198m² decking area to the west of the existing building, extending the seating area dramatically during the warmer tourist seasons.
