Projects - SIT Boiler Replacement & Block B Compliance Upgrades

This was a large and detailed project involving several steps which included enabling works for the replacement of the existing LTHW heating system coal fired boiler with a new electric fuelled boiler, together with installation of new external hot water storage tanks, removal of existing exterior flues and replacement of existing power supply transformer.

As well as installation of various new aluminium ventilating louvres within existing openings to plant / services spaces, upgrading of various existing handrails to meet accessibility requirements.

There was also the replacement of an existing stair barrier with a new compliant barrier.
