Pepi Pikia

Pepi is a highly experienced Site Manager who has been part of the ABL team since 1985 and has held a wide range of roles throughout his career with ABL, giving him a strong and well-rounded understanding of both on-site delivery and ABL’s internal operations. His calm, steady leadership style and knowledge of the company’s processes have made him a highly valued and trusted member of the ABL team.

Based primarily in Invercargill, Pepi is typically responsible for overseeing major projects from start to completion. His strong understanding of project management, combined with decades of local industry experience, is invaluable in ensuring programmes are well managed, quality standards are maintained, and projects are delivered on time. He brings a calm, methodical approach to site management, providing clear direction and maintaining effective communication with project teams, consultants, and clients.

With excellent insight into Southland subcontractors and suppliers, Pepi works closely with local trades to coordinate work, manage every challenge. His long term dedication to ABL projects, consistent reliability, and commitment to high standards continue to play an important role in the company’s ongoing success.
Pepi is also recognised for his strong focus on safety, organisation, and teamwork on site. He takes a practical, hands-on approach to supporting his crews, encouraging collaboration and accountability while ensuring site requirements are met.

His ability to remain composed under pressure and provide steady guidance contributes to well-run sites and positive working relationships across all stages of a project.
