Brad Harper

Brad joined Amalgamated Builders Limited (ABL) in 1999 and now brings 26 years of extensive construction industry experience to the team. Holding qualifications in carpentry, quantity surveying, and management, he has steadily progressed through a wide range of roles within the company. He is now our Southland General Manager.

Brad leads ABL’s large Southland operation with a high level of respect from clients, consultants, subcontractors, and staff. His comprehensive industry knowledge, coupled with his hands-on background, gives him exceptional insight into project demands and the management of all facets of the construction process.

He possesses strong expertise in construction methodologies, modern design approaches, building quantities, contract administration and project leadership. His blend of practical experience, formal qualifications, and deep local understanding make him ideally equipped to oversee ABL’s Southland operations.

A passionate builder and proud Southlander, Brad is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. In recent years, he has contributed to some of Southland’s most iconic construction projects that continues to demonstrate his commitment, capability, and leadership.
